Six Degrees Welcomes Renee Pilgrim!

We're very pleased to announce that Renee is joining our healthcare team. Her skills add more accessible services to Six Degrees such as nutrition counselling and how to eat ridiculously well on a limited budget. Please read more about her and feel free to visit her on Wednesday mornings.

Renee has built a life as an Acupuncturist since 2009. Ever interested in health, community and politics she values the opportunities to work and engage with people in conscious living.

Private Restorative Yoga Treatments begin this June at Six Degrees

Starting June 10, Six Degrees is hosting private restorative yoga treatments by Maggie O'Connor
on Friday mornings from 10am   - 2pm.  The sessions are 1 hour each plus intake and email support, and are offered on a sliding scale from $55 to $90.

Self Care Series II this June at Six Degrees

The Self-Care Series
This series will combine acupuncture treatments and meditative talks for embodied learning and
enhanced healing. Come and experience how acupuncture works on the body,
mind, and spirit.

As the Season Changes: A Mystery Unfolds

As the season changes and the cold creeps in, certain health issues arise in us. It's always an interesting moment when almost every client in one day or the same week comes in to tell me about a sudden, and strange health occurrence! Commonly, the usual elements of these health narratives may fall under: the unusual (This has never happened before!); intensity (It’s killing me!); suddenness (I was walking along and then BAM!, my back gave out!); an element of disbelief (What is happening to me?).
